World Heart Day2025

On World Heart Day 2025 the National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh held a rally, ran a free heart screening at the Channel i television station, hosted a seminar, and joined rallies and discussions in the districts.

Theme: Don't Miss a Beat

The programme

The World Heart Federation launched “Don't Miss a Beat” in 2025, asking people not to ignore the early signs and risks of heart disease.

  • Rally in Mirpur

    Hundreds of doctors, nurses and staff marched behind the World Heart Day 2025 banner with placards on salt, tobacco, blood pressure and daily walking.

  • Free heart screening at Channel i

    A Foundation team went to the Channel i television station and checked the blood pressure and heart health of its staff.

  • Seminar

    A seminar in the hospital auditorium brought together clinicians, researchers and the public.

  • District programmes

    Rallies and discussion meetings were held outside Dhaka, with screening for local residents.
