Why Tobacco Control
Is Imperative
Tobacco use remains one of the most significant public health challenges in Bangladesh, contributing substantially to non-communicable diseases such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, and chronic respiratory conditions. Despite considerable progress in tobacco control over the past two decades, a large proportion of the population continues to use tobacco in both smoked and smokeless forms.

We approach tobacco control holistically — integrating policy advocacy, clinical cessation, and mass media sensitization.
