Knowledge and Practice of Tobacco Cessation Counseling among the Nurses Working at Primary Health Care Facilities in Bangladesh

Tobacco use is a leading public health concern in Bangladesh. The study revealed that nurses at primary healthcare facilities are well-positioned to support tobacco cessation. However, significant gaps between knowledge and practice were observed due to limited time, workload, and insufficient resources. Nurses typically integrated advice within broader hypertension management.
