Project for Strengthening Health Care Systems for Preventing Non-Communicable Diseases (SHASTO-2)

This mixed-methods study assessed NCD service delivery in Bangladesh’s primary healthcare system across three districts. Despite progress, gaps remain in trained workforce, equipment, medicine supply, referral systems, and digital records. Strengthening quality improvement mechanisms, community engagement, and system integration is essential to enhance management.
